Illustrated talk, guided tour and practical hands-on session in our two-acre Kitchen Garden. Led by Rachel Petheram, of Catkin Flowers, a cutting garden based within our Kitchen Garden that grows the most delighful English seasonal flowers.
Rachel will show you how growing your own cut flowers is both easy and satisfying plus you can then fill your house with beautiful bouquets and pretty posies or give your arrangements as gifts. You'll also be providing a rich environment for wildlife in the garden as well as playing a part in reducing air-miles from imported flowers.
10am to 3pm. Tea, coffee and cake on arrival in the Farm Shop Cafe and three course lunch also in the Cafe. (Included in ticket price.)
