Things will be both spooky and tasty on Saturday 29th October at Doddington!
Firstly, we'll be holding a VegWatchers day which will be great fun for all the family, including the children, and we're featuring fab pumpkins. Our Vegwatchers days are designed to celebrate a seasonal favourite and explore new ways of eating and cooking with it. There will be tasters plus recipes to take home, as well as a lovely display of rotund pumpkins and squashes.
We will also be carving pumpkins as well, so you can watch some carving or purchase a ready-carved scary pumpkin!
Secondly, we'll be repeating our Carved Pumpkin Competition. How to enter: Big or small, scary or funny, anything goes and anyone can enter our free competition. (Competition is split into Aged 16 & Under and Aged 17 & Over.)
All you need to do is bring your carved pumpkin head along to the Farm Shop between 9am and 3pm on Saturday 29 October. Judging is at 3pm. There will be a prize for the winner of each category of a pass for 2 adults and 2 children to one of our 'see the Hall decorated' Christmas weekends so the family can enjoy the Christmas fun. Each winner will get a spooky goodie bag as well!
Come and watch the judging... if you don't mind being spooked!
