Brilliant fun and educational event for children in our gorgeous restored two-acre Kitchen Garden.
Children will be given the chance to use bug pots to discover the ‘mini beasts’ and decide whether or not they are friends or enemies of the gardener with our knowledgeable education officer Catherine Lee. Children will also be able to crush freshly picked herbs and smell their delicious aromas…what food do they think the herbs will taste good with? For the avid explorers, a map is provided so little adventurers can explore the Kitchen Garden and spot the different produce! Fantastic educational fun for children - parents / guardians will love it too.
Available Sunday 2 May, Monday 3 May, Sunday 30 May, Monday 31 May, Sunday 29 August & Monday 30 August.
Activities are available between 11am and 5pm. There is no extra charge, Kitchen Garden activites are included in admission price. No need to book. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
