Cleaning was just the beginning; there’s a lot more to do to prevent further damage and deterioration, so the tapestries are being stored until funds have been raised to do this work. We hope to set up a workshop here at Doddington, installing a loom in the Holly Room. We believe this will cost around £200,000 and the Doddington Hall Conservation Charity has already started to raise the money. We’d like to know what our visitors think about the work we’ve got planned, so when you visit please fill in one of the cards and add it to our comments wall.
