Christmas 2010 A visit to Doddington at Christmas is magical. Choose one of our fresh-cut home-grown trees, enjoy the Hall looking very festive on one of our 'home-grown Christmas' weekends, choose some new baubles or lights in our Bauble Barn, order your Christmas turkey, goose and meat, shop in our Farm Shop or enjoy a super Christmas lunch. All the information you need to make your visit extra special in 2010 will be updated below nearer the time. We are now taking group visit bookings (please see below). We look forward to being part of your Christmas tradition this year! CHRISTMAS TREES & BAUBLE BARN We grow beautiful trees in a natural woodland setting at Doddington and they are harvested daily throughout December to ensure that they are fresh for our customers. The trees are laid out in the beautiful yard and here is a huge variety of shapes and sizes to choose from - our staff will enjoy helping you to find your perfect tree. Christmas Trees will be on sale at a date tba. Our Bauble Barn offers a vast selection of baubles and lights to decorate your home, indoor and out; lights are all tested before they leave the premises. We stock a broad selection of bulbs and spares for your lights, too. The Bauble Barn will be open at a date tba. CHRISTMAS SHOPPING IN THE FARM SHOP & CHRISTMAS LUNCH OR PARTIES IN THE CAFE In the Farm Shop, shelves and baskets will be full with delicious veg, deli, wines, beer, preserves, cakes & gifts not to mention excellent meat, poultry and game from award-winning butcher FC Phipps. (You can pre-order your turkey and meat by popping in or calling 0845 258 5086.) The Farm Shop's opening hours over Christmas will be advised nearer the time. Our Farm Shop Cafe is also the perfect place to enjoy a delightful Christmas lunch with friends and family, or celebrate the festive season with your work colleagues. Christmas lunches to be served at dates tba. CHRISTMAS DECORATIONS INSIDE THE HALL & OTHER EVENTS Enjoy a Home-Grown Christmas at Doddington Hall this year. Weekend dates tba. CHRISTMAS GROUP VISITS TO THE HALL Group visits can expect a very merry and festive Doddington Hall welcome at Christmas! We are offering groups (a minimum of 20 people) a private tour of the decorated House together with seasonal refreshments to suit all budgets and the opportunity to wander around the Gardens. Morning and afternoon Christmas tours are available on selected dates. We have four useful documents for you to download, and consider with your fellow group members. Our House Manager Nicky Wilson personally oversees our group visits, and would be pleased to hear from you with your queries and bookings. Please feel very welcome to download the following: Introduction letter & Notes to Group Visits from Nicky, also Group Visit Information, Dates & Costings, and Group Visit Menu Options then finally Group Visit Booking Form. You may also call 0845 258 5080 if you would like to discuss your visit in greater detail. We also have a useful document for coach drivers; please ensure your driver is given a copy. Your driver will also need a plan of our car park which illustrates the area suitable for coaches; please ensure you hand your driver a copy. CHRISTMAS TREE SUPPLY & DELIVERY TO BUSINESSES ETC. We would be delighted to supply your business or an organisation with a tree this year. Prices etc. will be listed nearer the time.
