Welcome to the award-winning Doddington Farm Shop, Cafe & Restaurant!

The Farm Shop & Cafe were opened in 2007 - borne out of our passion for good quality, seasonal, local food.  Our Restaurant was opened in summer 2011, in addition to a new Cafe area.

FARM SHOP OPENING HOURS

* Monday to Saturday 9 - 5pm (late night Friday to 8pm). Please note restricted butchery produce on Mondays.

* Sunday & Bank Holiday Mondays 10 - 5pm

You'll find fruit and veg with zero food miles freshly picked from our returned-to-glory walled Kitchen Garden which is back in production for the first time in 50 years; along with lots of lovely produce from other Lincolnshire growers. Also, we can’t resist some produce from the continent - for example the Seville orange - when it is in season and at its very best.

Our butchery brings you quality local and rarebreed meat, traditionally reared and properly hung for the best flavour. Sausages, pork pies, local game and poultry are also offered.

Visit our full deli which offers our region's great cheeses, along with selected continental favourites. Also on offer are wonderful charcuterie, olives, anchovies and marinated vegetables.

Why not try our cakes, pastries, tarts and biscuits. We also offer delicious bread made locally. You could even stock up on larder essentials such as pesto, pickles, chutneys, jams, sauces, relishes, pastas, rice, flours and baking ingredients - enough to inspire the most jaded of cooks. Our choice of wine, regional beers, bottled fruit juices and cordials is excellent - cheers!

We also hold lots of wonderful foodie events such as 'meet the suppliers',  produce tastings and cooking demos, many held in the Kitchen Garden itself.

If you would like a stroll / walk before or after your visit, you can access three walks from our Farm Shop Courtyard (no charge and open all year round). To read more, please click here.

Our philosophy...

From the start we have been determined to be as environmentally friendly as we can and this has been rewarded with some awards in 2008 that we are very proud of. The Farm Shop, Cafe & Restaurant is heated with wood-chip from the estate; rain-water is collected for use in the garden and low flush toilets; natural ventilation and low energy appliances are used as widely as possible; we seek out produce with low food miles; we use biodegradable or re-usable packaging as far as we can and we run a return scheme for packaging that is suitable. Please read more about our environmental policies here

A note for our doggie visitors...

If you are visiting the Farm Shop with your dog, please note that we have 'Dog Parks' just outside our Courtyard. You are welcome to leave your dog at a 'dog park' but we do request that you do not leave it unattended for long or you sit where you can see your dog. We do not have 'Dog Parks' at the Hall. Pet dogs are not permitted in the Hall and Gardens or in the Farm Shop, Cafe or Courtyard. Please do not leave your dog in your car in hot weather.

Farm Shop & Cafe Support

The Doddington Hall Farm Shop & Cafe project was supported under the England Rural Development Programme by the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs and the European Agricultural Guidance and Guarantee Fund.

2011 Improvements

In early 2011 we undeerwent some exciting new developments including an extension to our Shop & Cafe which meant an improved shopping and dining experience and additional covers. This project was supported through the Rural Development Programme for England, which is jointly funded by Defra and the European Union, and is delivered by East Midlands Development Agency (emda).
