Our wonderful Head Chef Tom Doran came from Nick's Restaurant in Oakham where he established a great following for his delicious food. He works closely with Gavin our Head Kitchen Gardener and FC Phipps butchers to put together menus showcasing fresh and delicious produce from the Kitchen Garden, Estate and surrounding area! Everything is cooked from scratch to order, dictated by nature, not a distant head office.
Outside eating: in the summer our seating spills out into our beautiful courtyard and diners can enjoy our full menu indoors or out.
Evenings: we have regular Fish Suppers every Friday and Saturday Night Seven every Saturday evening.
Private parties: the Café is a popular venue for private parties and celebrations. We can accommodate from 6 to 60 people on an exclusive basis.
FARM SHOP & CAFE OPENING HOURS * Monday to Saturday 9 - 5pm (late night Friday to 8pm) Please note restricted butchery produce on Mondays. * Sunday & Bank Holiday Mondays 10 - 5pm * Fish Supper Fridays - reservations (essential) from 6pm * Saturday Night Sevens - reservations (essential) from 6pm Reservations 01522 688 581 highly recommended for Lunch in the Cafe, but not required for the Courtyard during summer months.
