In October 2011, we opened our new interiors store ‘India Jane at Doddington Hall’. Opening hours are Monday to Friday 9.30am-5pm, Saturday 9am to 5pm, Sunday and Bank Holiday Mondays 10am-5pm. Located in our beautifully refurbished and re-built stables accessed via the Farm Shop Courtyard, ‘India Jane at Doddington Hall’ offers an unrivalled shopping experience for home and garden accessories including furniture. India Jane was established in London twenty years ago; the brand has created a name for itself by bringing customers classic and timeless ranges of furniture, unique objet, stunning collections of crystal and home interiors accessories in leather, silver plate, ceramic and an unrivalled collection of lighting. The India Jane range is constantly updated with exciting new additions from India Jane’s buyers' numerous trips to all corners of the globe whilst the India Jane design team in London draw inspiration from the India Jane archive of antique Colonial and Classical European collections collected over many years of trading. Our shop at Doddington is the only India Jane in Lincolnshire and the Midlands – something we are very proud of. We carry a large and broad selection of the range. ‘India Jane at Doddington Hall’ is a large store over two levels. The design and orientation of our beautiful new building has leant itself to a series of ‘rooms’; each is styled in a way which will give you both countless new ideas and lots of inspiration. As Doddington Hall is a family home which has never been sold, we do have many unusual items ourselves so we have added an interesting item here and there to complete the look and best show off the India Jane range. In the PANTRY - in what was our tack room - you can find stylish table settings and crockery, perfect for informal or formal dining. French-inspired beautiful gifts and accessories may be found in the light and airy SALON. Our PRINT ROOM is has a masculine feel with chocolate and turquoise colours, and textures including leather. It’s a rich, opulent room. In our delightful light-filled GARDEN ROOM, you’ll find a display of garden items on an old Indian table as well as table glasses of all different colours which catch the light. The upstairs of the tack room gives us the vaulted STUDY which displays beautiful ceramics, comfortable chairs and a grand partner’s desk. The LAMP ROOM offers a large selection of ceramic, nickel and wooden base lamps plus shades both small and large. The nautical-themed SAILING ROOM includes leather & velvet seating, leather trunks and old Chinese pieces. In the POLO ROOM you can find mirrored picture frames, leather chairs plus styling is finished off with equestrian items belonging to the family. On the MEZZANINE you will find inspired dining ideas as well as a huge chandelier and oversized urn pictures to create maximum impact. 2011 Improvements During 2011 we underwent some exciting new developments at Doddington, including the refurbishment of stables etc. This project was supported through the Rural Development Programme for England, which is jointly funded by Defra and the European Union, and is delivered by East Midlands Development Agency (emda).
