DROP IN ON THURS 24th 2-4pm TO POP SOME CORKS!
It’s now one year since we opened the doors of our Farm Shop & Café for the first time, and to celebrate James & Claire Birch would like to invite customers old and new to join them in the Farm Shop on Thursday 24 July between 2pm and 4pm for a glass of bubbly and some cooked-on-the-spot seasonal canapés, featuring Phipps rare breed meat and Kitchen Garden produce.
It has been an incredible year for everyone involved with the Farm Shop & Café, and this is our chance to thank you for your support. Highlights for Claire & James have ranged from seeing redundant farm buildings breath with new life, to watching people really enjoy their visit in the Shop, Café or Kitchen Garden, to overhearing someone say they are going to cook with a new ingredient, right through to recently being announced the Overall Winner for The Lincolnshire Environment Award 2008, in which the new Farm Shop & Café played its part.

The celebration is supported by Martin & Mel Holliday from local business Chiselwood Kitchens. Based in Saxilby, Chiselwood is located just a couple of miles from Doddington. Martin & Mel wanted to join in with the celebrations as they like the sustainable approach taken at Doddington and the importance given to inspiring people to eat and cook seasonally and locally – things close to the Chiselwood heart as well!
