Cooking & tasting at Doddington this Sat (27th)
There are two extra reasons to come to Doddington Farm Shop & Cafe this Saturday (27th)!
Our regular Cooking in the Kitchen Garden comes to an end this Saturday when our last morning cooking in the lovely two-acre Kitchen Garden coincides with the end of summer. Amy will be cooking food inspired by the sunny climes of Portugal and her cataplana will remind you of your hols. And in the Farm Shop, we 're inviting you to meet Phipps' chef Jill Easton and sample her tasty food-to-go all created with Phipps produce.
Join us at 11am for Cooking in the Kitchen Garden. It's free, and fun! Amy will be making Piri Piri Phipps Chicken (learn to make the sauce from scratch), Kitchen Garden Cataplana with Pork & Doddington Beans (a cataplana is a clam-shaped copper cooking vessel used in Portugal), Roast Squash & Chard Soup Portuguese-style and easy Caramelised Doddington Orchard Fruits!
You'll be able to tuck into the dishes and take the recipe home if you'd like to cook it yourself. All the dishes are designed to be simple, easy, delicious and inspirational.
Jill will be in the Farm Shop from 11am to 3pm - also free.
