Doddington joins in LINCOLNSHIRE DAY fun! (01/10)
Doddington Hall will be taking part in the Lincolnshire Day celebrations on Wednesday 1 October with much delicious produce on display and to taste, and is inviting people to come along and join in the fun. And because Lincolnshire Day is such a good idea, all the activities are free (except the Café menu)!
Visitors to the Farm Shop can sample several different Lincolnshire cheeses at the deli counter then enjoy a browse of the veg table, which will display many fruit and veg grown in the county, including some grown in Doddington’s Kitchen Garden itself.
If people feel inspired to cook a Lincolnshire-inspired meal, then there will be many free recipes to take home and try.
Why not sample Lincolnshire sausages and the county’s favourite chine? Phipps the butchers, located in the Farm Shop, is offering people the chance to try them.
And if people would like a wander round a very old and beautiful Lincolnshire garden, Doddington Hall is opening its ornamental gardens free to its Farm Shop customers. (Access via the Kitchen Garden, also open free.)
If all the sampling, browsing, and garden wandering have left people with an appetite, then the Farm Shop Café will be featuring lots of Lincolnshire and Doddington produce on its menu! (Booking advisable, please call 01522 688 581.)
