Bank Holiday Weekend at Doddington
There is something for everyone at Doddington this Bank Holiday weekend! We hope you can join us for a leisurely day in the House & Gardens or treat yourself in our Cafe or Restaurant to some delicious cake, fabulous lunch or High Tea. If you simply only have time to pop into our Farm Shop to get some fresh produce it will be worth it. (Particularly if you like plums and beans! We have plenty of those plus lots of other seasonal produce.)
On Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday both the House (1pm to 5pm) and Gardens (11am to 5pm) will be open for you to enjoy and explore. Details of admission here.
For younger visitors with a great sense of exploration, our Kitchen Garden Trug Activities are being held on both Sunday and Monday. Included in admission. 12noon to 5pm. Weather permitting. (Previously advertised as commencing at 11am, apologies, now 12noon.)
If you would enjoy a stroll or a walk, we have a few lovely walks here at Doddington using both public bridleways and across Estate land (free). You can either enjoy the Pond Walk, which is a short stroll, to spot fish from the bridge or take a longer walk through the parkland. We have cattle (Lincoln Red) so please keep dogs on leads and read the notices on the gates.
The Farm Shop is open every day over the Bank Holiday weekend. The Farm Shop has lots of seasonal produce, meat, deli, dry goods etc., as well as edible and non-edible gifts.
If you would like to eat lunch, Fish Supper Friday or Saturday Night Seven in the Restaurant, reservations are essential; please call 01522 688 581. We also have a traditional High Tea in the Restaurant on Sunday afternoon. The Cafe does not take reservations but is open all day for drinks, cakes and light meals - if the sun is out, you may wish to sit in the Courtyard.
