Chamber Music in the Long Gallery (Tues 11 May)
Our Long Gallery will be the venue for the Lincoln & Lincolnshire’s International Chamber Music Festival event on Tuesday 11 May. With Jack Liebeck on the violin and Ashley Wass on piano, enjoy Mozart (Bb major Sonata KV 454), Brahms (G major Sonata Op. 78) and Bloch (Baal Shem Three Pictures from Hassidic Life).
The concert starts at 7.30pm. You may, if you wish, enjoy a delicious pre-concert supper in our Farm Shop Cafe. (Reservations essential; please be seated by 5.45pm.)
The special pre-concert menu includes starters (choice of watercress and potato soup / fishcake flavoured with dill and lemon / Ham hock terrine, homemade piccalilli); a main course (choice of char-grilled sea bream, watercress and bacon salad / spinach and broad bean risotto with Parmesan / rump steak with hand cut chips and salad) and a dessert (choice of a selection of local ice creams / crème brûlée with poached rhubarb / sticky toffee pudding). Two courses £19.95 or three courses £23.95.
