Doddington Hall on the Hairy Bikers 9 February 8pm
Last September we were very lucky to be visited by the Hairy Bikers, who were busy filming for their new series Mums Know Best. The episode featuring Doddington Hall is on Tuesday 9th February BBC2 at 8pm. Hope you can catch it.
They wanted to use Doddington Hall as a location for them to film some of their own recipes and it was great fun having them here. They filmed on the lawn at the East Front (the area between the Gatehouse and front door) then they filmed in the Kitchen Garden. They also gathered summer berries in our soft fruit patch for their delicious trifle. (We can confirm it tasted great as we tucked in when the camera stopped rolling!) They had a good look round our Farm Shop and parked their beautiful gleaming motorcycles outside the Gatehouse.They were exactly as they seem on the tv: friendly, warm and really enthusiastic about food and cooking. We hope they come back one day!
