Edible Flowers Course, Thursday 20 August
A very special workshop combining two of our favourite subjects: gorgeous English flowers and fresh, seasonal, local food - all grown here at Doddington!
Enjoy a fascinating floristry demonstration with Rachel Petheram (proprietor of cutting garden Catkin Flowers). Rachel will show you some brilliant ideas using seasonal flowers and you will later be able to make a hand-tied bunch of flowers to take home. Learn a versatile skill you can use at home, either in flower arranging or to give as gifts to friends. No experience necessary.
Next cookery demonstrator (from our Cooking in the Kitchen Garden sessions) will create delicious dishes incorporating edible flowers which you’ll be able to polish off for lunch.
