Gardens Open Every Day This Week
It's currently Iris Week (until Sunday 5th June). Despite the 'star turn' leaving us early there is still plenty to see in our Gardens!
The Gardens are open every day (11am to 5pm). As April and the first half of May was unexpectedly warm and dry the irises were ready sooner than we anticipated as the weather gave them exactly the conditions they love. In the week running up to Iris Week we had two special iris days to bring your enjoyment forward. The first couple of days of Iris Week did have irises but they have now gone over, sadly. However we do feel that there is so much more for you to enjoy and see in our seven acres of walled and wild gardens. We are sure you will still enjoy your visit even though the star guests have left!
We also have a number of nice walks through the Estate which you may enjoy. If you are bringing your dog to Doddington for a walk, we do have a couple of 'doggy parks' at the entrance of the Courtyard. Please do not leave your dog in your car during hot weather.
