Join us for Stir-up Sunday 22 November
In the Anglican Church, the last Sunday before the Advent season is known as Stir-up Sunday which this year falls on 22 November. It is also the day that traditionally we start preparing for Christmas dinner. The first task is making the Christmas Pudding on Stir-up Sunday, an occasion when the whole family including the children add the ingredients and make a wish when stirring.
We're celebrating Stir-up Sunday this coming Sunday by having a special offer on all the ingredients, and offering our customers not only a copy of head chef Tom's recipe for Christmas Pudding but the chance to stir our own large bowl of ingredients. What will you wish for?
If you wish for the perfect ready-made Christmas Pudding, don't wish too hard as we have plenty now for sale in the Farm Shop in the shape of the Doddington Christmas Pudding hand-made by Tom and the team. Delicious!
Stir-up Sunday in the Farm Shop, 22 November. FREE; no need to book, just pop along. (The Bauble Barn is also open.)
