Learn to Grow Roses or Make Chutney at Doddington

There is always something interesting going on at Doddington, whether it is to do with the House, Gardens or Farm Shop!  Why not come and learn to grow roses or make chutney with us?

On Friday 17 September you can learn to grow roses with our resident florist and cutting garden expert Rachel Petheram. The rose is the nation’s favourite flower and they are surprisingly tough but easy to look after. Join Rachel on her informative course covering the best varieties for cut flowers and scent, pruning and general maintenance. 10am to 11.30am. £10pp. Please call Rachel directly to book on 01400 272 344. Pre-booking essential but payment is on the day.

On Saturday 18 September, why discover how to make gluts into wonderful chutney with Amy from our Cooking in the Garden sessions? Following on from our popular jam-making workshops, we're inviting you to join Amy for more hands-on home-made fun. Making chutney is a simple pleasure that uses seasonal produce and gluts. It's a delicious thing to make and pop in your cupboard to enjoy during winter and Christmas! Amy's workshop includes all produce needed, tea and coffee on arrival and notes plus you'll be taking home what you make. 9am to 1pm. £23pp. To book, please contact Amy direct on 01522 698 698. Pre-booking essential but payment is on the day.

Have fun!
