Potato Day this Saturday in the Farm Shop for Chitters & Chippers!
If you have started chitting and you want some inspiration for your future crop, pop along the the Farm Shop this Saturday (19th) 11am to 3pm (FREE). We're celebrating the humble spud and taking the opportunity to shout about its brilliant versatility, homely comforting taste and thrifty benefits. Join our food enthusiast Jane in the Farm Shop as she will have some tasters for you, free recipes plus time to chat about the veg basket's most noble resident.
Tasters and / or recipes include Briq a l'oeuf, chesse and potato pie, Spanish potatoes, boulangere, lamb stovies, potato bread and gnocchi with goat's cheese.
FREE; no need to book. Just pop along and get potty about tatties...! Fun for the children, too.
