Pumpkin Day Saturday 30 October, free entry
Enjoy the return of our Pumpkin Day this Saturday (30th) as part of your Hallowe'en fun. Entry is free, and enjoyable for all ages. 10am to 4pm. We'll be celebrating seasonal pumpkins by spending the day eating and carving! Between 11am and 2pm, the Farm Shop’s food enthusiast Jane Forster will be doing pumpkin carving demonstrations (using Jack O’Lantern and Connecticut varieties grown in the Kitchen Garden) plus cooking up some delicious dishes for everyone to try.
Entries are sought for the Carved Pumpkin Competition following last year’s impressive entries with classes for 16 & Under and Aged 17 & Over. Entries need to be brought along between 9am and 3pm; judging at 3pm. Each class winner receives a family pass to enjoy one of the ‘Hall decorated’ weekends plus a spooky goodie bag. The competition is free to enter.
Pumpkin Day is on 30 October, 10am to 4pm, free entry. Cooking & carving demos 11am to 2pm. Carved pumpkin entries will be judged at 3pm.
