Regency Dancing at Doddington (Sunday 15 May)
A Regency Dancing Event in our 96ft Long Gallery on Sunday (15 May) will give visitors a real flavour of what sort of social events took place at Doddington in the Regency era of the early 1800s. Mistress Shaw’s Regency Dancers and their accompanying musicians (flute and accordion) will bring the Long Gallery alive with an evocative display as 14-16 dancers will delight us with their dancing.
Enjoyment of the dancing is included free within admission, and will be ongoing between 1.30pm and 4.30pm bar a short break at 3pm.
The Gardens open at 11am, House at 1pm.
