Tree Sales Open & Christmas Decorations in the House
Christmas Trees are now on sale, in our pretty courtyard next to the Bauble Barn. Every weekend from 26th and 27th November to the 17th and 18th December inclusive, enjoy our popular 'See the Hall Decorated' weekends. See the family's huge twinkling Christmas tree (from the Estate) and stunning, inspirational home-grown House decorations.
The Great Hall will again be decorated by Doddington's cutting garden florist Rachel Petheram, whilst Claire Birch has created her Enchanting Forest of birch saplings and suspended leaves in the Long Gallery but new this year will be the addition of delightful woodland willow animals foxes, hares, deer etc. created by willow expert Alison Walling. (These woodland animals will be for sale and available for collection once the weekends have finished.)
New this year, talented ladies from NAFAS (members of the North Midlands area of the National Association of Flower Arrangement Societies) have kindly created special, delightful displays for many of our rooms using Doddington dried and seasonal foliage. The seven local Lincolnshire Flower Clubs from the North Midlands Area of NAFAS who have displayed their work are Gainsborough, Horncastle, Lincoln, Market Rasen, North Hykeham, Newark and Woodhall Spa.
A thoroughly festive visit is guaranteed plus you will come away with lots of ideas so you create your own home-grown decorations if you wish!
10am to 4pm. Admission £6pp, children 14 and under free.
