CYCLING

The Doddington Hall Estate is the perfect destination for a bite-sized cycling fix. Be it road, gravel or off-road riding, you can get a taste of them all.

GEORGIE TWIGG TRACK

For a serene road riding experience try the Georgie Twigg Track. This recently constructed, perfect ribbon of tarmac winds through the fields with some lovely sweeping bends.

The track is entirely off-road, so you can spin effortlessly through the countryside and even go further as the track links Doddington Hall with the National Cycle Network Route 64. Getting between Doddington and the centre of Lincoln could not be easier.

The Georgie Twigg Track starts at Kennel Lane, just over the road from the Hall.

MOUNTAIN BIKE TRAIL

If weaving through the woods on your mountain bike is your cup of tea, then head to Giant Lincoln Bike Shop to sign on (it’s free!) and we’ll direct you to our secret mountain bike jump trail. You can park at the Hall and ride down on our private gravel roads and trails. It’s a great family ride on relatively flat terrain but there is also plenty to challenge more advanced riders with optional tabletop jump lines and sweeping berms.

Regardless of how far you want to push your skills, everyone will appreciate the escape to this little haven of singletrack and dense woodland. When you return, inspired to upgrade your mountain bike, we’ll be very happy to show you the full line-up.
