Artist in Residence, Dominic Parczuk, presents a collection of around 50 oil paintings inspired by the Doddington estate throughout the seasons.
Paintings produced from life and in his studio feature still life, interiors, architectural and landscape works.
Gallery open daily, Saturday 15 June – Sunday 14 July 2019, 10am-4pm
The Gallery is situated in the Stable Yard.
Dominic’s work focuses on the relationship between light and dark and how this can create mood and nostalgia.
Working in oils, he likes to create work in one sitting and not overthink or overwork a particular piece.
Dominic is a local painter, having originally trained at Lincoln School of Art he then furthered his studies at London’s Central Saint Martins College eventually moving on to pursue a full time career as a painter.
He spent a year as Artist in Residence at Lincoln Cathedral between 2016-2017 ending with an exhibition of paintings.
