This is a practical session and will involve walking on uneven terrain. The event will go ahead even in the case of wet weather but may be rescheduled if the weather is torrential.

Step away from screens and into the woods for a hands-on bushcraft adventure. Guided by our Wilder team, you’ll build dens, learn fire lighting techniques and other wilderness skills.
We will explore by walking across varied terrain and into the wildness of one of our old woodlands. Ideal for older children to explore practical bushcraft and to share forest school experiences with their families.

Discover the different birds that call Lincolnshire home in autumn and winter, and along the way, we’ll explore how we can support our feathered friends through the colder months.
Back at base, we’ll use natural materials to craft bird feeders, which you can then take home to help provide food for birds as the seasons change, supporting them through the chillier part of the year.

Brilliant Birds – Key Information
Visit our PYO Pumpkin Patch and take your pick of the pumpkins this October, free entry to patch. No tickets required. Pumpkin prices dependent on size. You can also see our creepy crew of scarecrows at the front of the hall from 25 October-2 November, free of charge.
Plus, why not enjoy the autumn colour in the gardens? Open daily 10am-4pm with tickets available on arrival. Admission applies for garden entry and don’t forget to treat yourself to seasonal food in our Farm Shop Café or Grain Store Café.
