We’re thrilled to welcome international pianist and Wigmore Hall regular, Melvyn Tan, to Doddington for a very special evening of Beethoven, Chopin and Liszt.

 

Explore our romantic gardens and famous Iris display, have a glass of prosecco on the private terrace and then listen to wonderful classical music in the beauty of the Long Gallery.

 

About Melvyn Tan

Exploration, insight and imagination are vital ingredients in Melvyn Tan’s blend of artistic attributes. First half: Beethoven Sonata in A flat Op 110, Liszt. 2 Schubert songs transcribed by Liszt Ständchen ( Serenade) Liebesbotschaft ( Love’s Message), Granados The Maiden and the Nightingale from ‘Goyescas’

 

Second half: Chopin, 2 Waltzes Op 64 no2 / Op 34 no 1, Ballade Op 47, Polonaise Fantasie Op 61

 

To raise funds for the Doddington Hall Conservation Charity and Refilwe Community Project.
