DODDINGTON AS A LOCATION

Doddington Hall, with its iconic Elizabethan red brick exterior, Georgian interiors, stunning gardens and parkland, has a wide range of beautiful locations for TV, film and stills photography.

An example of a fine late Elizabethan Mansion, Doddington Hall is still a lived-in and much-loved family home, alive with history and interest.

Originally built for Thomas Tailor, the registrar to the Bishop of Lincoln, Doddington’s mellow brick exterior with its walled courtyards has barely changed. However, in 1749, the Hall was inherited by John Delaval of Seaton Delaval in Northumberland and he carried out an extensive internal re-decoration, incorporating the light and elegant Georgian style still seen today.

Our impressive architecture and incredible scenery provide a fantastic setting for filming, from classic period dramas to factual documentaries and modern feature films.

Our convenient links to London, the Midlands and the North make us easy to reach and our luxury on-site accommodation and award-winning catering also make us a crew friendly site.

If you would like to discuss your project/production then please contact our Marketing Manager on 01522 812517 or by email.
