With over 30 years of experience in providing school visits, we pride ourselves on offering rewarding days packed with history, a working Kitchen Garden and surrounding farmland to enrich any curriculum. Doddington is ideal for inquisitive minds and children who love to explore at all stages of learning.
Our experienced education team will tailor each workshop to the age and abilities of the class, making it a busy, fulfilling day for children. Our workshops have been carefully tailored to the seasons to ensure you get the most out of your day.
All visits will take part in an interactive tour of the Hall led by a guide who will explore the House with the children along with a full Garden tour, discovering the 6 acres of grounds and Kitchen Garden. To this, add your choice of a third workshop, from learning all about Herbs, to the Nature Trail or getting your hands on historical objects, the choice is yours, depending on the season.
See our full timetable of workshops below.
The cost is £5.00 per child for a full day, accompanying teachers and adults are complimentary.
To make a school booking please contact Hannah on firstname.lastname@example.org or call 01522 812510.
It is expected that a school specific risk assessment is carried out by a representative of the school prior to the children visiting.
This programme has been supported by The Heritage Lottery Fund.
*Please note due to capacity and room size, we can host a maximum number of 60 pupils per day*
