Spiced Pumpkin Seeds

Don’t throw away the seeds from your pumpkin this Halloween – turn them into a tasty snack with this easy recipe for leftover pumpkin seeds.

Spiced Pumpkin Seeds

Ingredients

135g  Pumpkin seeds (rinsed & dried)
½ tbsp Olive Oil
2 tbsp Mixed Spice
Salt To Taste

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C/ 160 Fan.
  2. In a large bowl, toss pumpkin seeds with oil, salt, and seasoning.
  3. Spread pumpkin seeds evenly onto a baking sheet in 1 layer.
  4. Bake for about 20 minutes, until the seeds are crisp, shaking the pan every few minutes while roasting.
  5. Remove from the oven

Serving Instructions

If desired, add more spices.

Serve as a simple snack or scatter over salads and soups for a little extra crunch.
