Doddington Hall is one of the most beautiful Elizabethan houses in the country. Still privately owned and lived in, it has never been sold since it was built in 1595 and it is a truly splendid venue with a uniquely exclusive and romantic atmosphere.
We have several special licensed sites which include the Garden Room in the Coach House, the charming Coach House walled garden and the stunning Long Gallery. in the Hall. Each is unique and will ensure your civil ceremony is truly memorable.
If you choose Doddington as your Lincolnshire wedding venue, you can be assured of the personal attention of our wedding team for your bespoke wedding package.
We can build you a wonderful weekend package (or two day if you are having a weekday wedding) to include our stylish, homely and comfortable accommodation along with extra catering the night before and morning after your wedding.
A Doddington wedding is not just about the day itself, it offers you the chance to spend time with your family and friends over several days in a beautiful setting.
We invite you to our Wedding Open Day to view the wonderful award-winning Coach House and our accommodation. There will also be an opportunity to view St Peter’s Church.
The Doddington team, along with a bespoke selection of handpicked suppliers, will be on hand to provide advice on how to create your unique and special day.
Tickets are free but pre-booking is essential
Our late availability package represents excellent value and a big saving on the usual costs, enabling us to fill any gaps we have on the calendar. Rest assured, just because you are considering a late booking, you will still be treated to our excellent award-winning service.

If you are planning your own party, or planning for someone else, you want to make sure the bride has the best time.
The old Coach House, sitting just yards from the Hall, was completely refurbished to create a wonderful, versatile wedding venue.
Light, airy, fresh and modern but with a stunning Elizabethan exterior, the Coach House is a private and comfortable location, seating up to 120 guests for formal dining, rising to 150 for an evening reception.
With its own pretty and private walled garden, the Coach House is the perfect blend of old and new. It is ideal for weddings, with exclusive use of the whole venue.
The Long Gallery, situated in the Hall itself, can seat up to 200.
The Garden Room, situated in the Coach House, can seat up to 70.
The charming Coach House walled garden can seat up to 70.
Wedding receptions are held in the Coach House with the Long Gallery being used for civil ceremonies above 70 guests.

A bespoke wedding package for an intimate couples only celebration.
This wedding package is perfect for couples who would prefer a small romantic ceremony and quiet celebration. This just for two wedding package is available from £2,000 inc VAT. Subject to availability.

COACH HOUSE
The Coach House is fully accessible to wheelchairs. The entrance has double doors and there are no steps from the Green Wing dining room into the garden. There is a disabled loo on the ground floor.
HALL
The Long Gallery is situated on the second floor. Access to the Long Gallery for wedding guests with accessibility needs can be discussed directly with our Wedding Manager, Justine Shakespeare, on 01522 812501 or by email: justine@doddingtonhall.com
You and your guests will have the option to book Doddington Estate accommodation for the night before and night of your wedding. Staying onsite is much more fun and so much easier than the taxi journey back and forth to another location!
We are happy to give you up to 12 months (from the date of your wedding) to book your accommodation. This will give you time to notify your family and friends of the accommodation options available. After this time, we will advertise any unbooked properties to the general public but we do prefer that we fill the cottages and rooms with wedding guests.
We have a total of 4 cottages and 7 individual bedrooms accommodating up to 48 people. The cottage accommodation hire is based on a minimum of a 2 night stay. The individual rooms are based on a 1 or 2 night stay but staying for 2 nights results in a sizeable saving.
A full set of linens and towels etc is provided in each location.
