Just a stone’s throw from the Hall itself, the Coach House was completely refurbished to create a wonderful, versatile wedding venue.
Light, fresh and modern but with a stunning Elizabethan exterior, the Coach House at Doddington Hall is a private and comfortable location, seating up to 120 guests for formal dining, and up to 150 for an evening reception.
With its characterful interiors, private walled garden and views of the Hall, the Coach House is the perfect blend of old and new. With multiple rooms, it’s adaptable for both small and large weddings, and you will have exclusive use of the whole venue.

The Long Gallery, situated in the Hall itself, can seat up to 200.
The Garden Room in the Coach House can seat up to 70.

This wedding package is perfect for couples who would prefer a small romantic ceremony and quiet celebration. Our ‘just for two’ wedding package is available from £2,500 inc VAT. Subject to availability.
Good food is an essential part of any wedding. Here at Doddington Hall we are proud to showcase quality, seasonal produce from our own estate and local suppliers.
Working with your vision, our incredible team of chefs can create anything from feasting banquets to intimate afternoon teas.

COACH HOUSE
The Coach House is fully accessible to wheelchairs. The entrance has double doors and there are no steps from the Green Wing dining room into the garden. There is a disabled loo on the ground floor.
HALL

Provisional bookings
Following on from your initial appointment with our Wedding Manager, we will check availability and pencil in a proposed date for your wedding day. We hold this provisional date for 14 days while you contact the Registrar or Church to enquire about availability and book your ceremony.
Confirmation
After holding your booking for up to 14 days, we require a signed copy of the booking form along with the deposit of 30% to secure your chosen date. There are no further payments until 6 months before the wedding when 40% of the balance is due. Your final balance due 2 weeks before your wedding.
You are responsible for the booking and all payments connected with the registrar. Lincolnshire County Council deal with all registrar enquiries, you can contact them on 01522 782244 or follow the booking link via www.lincolnshire.gov.uk
We arrange a final planning meeting with you 3 weeks before your wedding day. You have right up until this point to amend your food, drinks and guest numbers.
Doddington Hall holds a license to host Civil Weddings at a number of locations on the site, each is restricted by the number of guests who join you.
The Coach House, Garden Room holds 75 guests
The Long Gallery holds 180 guests
The Coach House Walled Garden holds 75 guests
(Outside locations only suitable for good weather and small guest numbers.)
The venue fee includes access to the Coach House from 12 noon the day before your wedding to help personalise the venue. Plus, you have complete exclusivity of the Coach House on the day of your wedding.
No, Doddington will be yours exclusively during your wedding, so there will be no queuing for best photo spots or worrying about seeing another bride in a dress!
Our licence for drinking and music ends at 11.30pm. You and your guests are more than welcome to continue the celebrations back at one of your rented on site cottages (please keep your refundable deposit in mind) but we do ask that you are mindful not to make any noise when you leave the venue!
Yes, you and your guests will have the option to book Doddington Estate accommodation for the weekend of your wedding. Staying on site is much more fun and so much easier than the taxi journey back and forth to another location! We are happy to give you up to 12 months (from the date of your wedding) to book your accommodation.
Cutlery, crockery, glassware, linens, staffing and a pay bar are included in your quote and all the Coach House fixtures and fittings are included in your quote.
Our ground floor of the Coach House is on one level and is wheelchair accessible. We have lift access up to the Long Gallery but unfortunately it is not suitable for a wheelchair.
Sorry, this isn’t possible, but we are happy to source your favourites.
We can provide ‘food for entertainers’ (generally photographers). Using your wedding menu options we charge 2 courses at £30 or 3 courses at £40. Evening entertainers are usually added to the evening food numbers. Occasionally a band will request something specific and we are happy to discuss it with you should this be the case.
Yes, we have a wide variety of options listed on our current wedding package.
Our large round guest tables are 5’6” and comfortably seat up to 8-10 guests
Our trestle tables are 6’2” and seat 3 people per table (generally used for the top table)
Our dedicated team are on hand to guide you, your family & friends through the day seamlessly. We offer a Master of Ceremonies service or you are more than welcome to provide your own.
If you choose to have a stand-alone disco then this is something we provide and organise on your behalf. You are more than welcome to provide your own live entertainment. We require a copy of their Public Liability Insurance as well as confirmation that all of their equipment has had an up to date PAT test. Please be aware that noise levels must be at or below 70 decibels.
There are several options for music. You are welcome to use our wedding playlist or plug your own iPod playlist into our system, or you could have live musicians or a combination of both.
You are free to bring your own slow burn candles as long as they are placed appropriately and in a drip proof candle container. We do not allow naked flames to be placed on the floor/at the side of the aisle etc. Please note, we do not allow naked flames in the Long Gallery, any candles used for a ceremony in the Hall must be battery operated.
We request that only flower petal confetti in natural colours is used. Due to its detrimental effect on the grounds, there will be a charge of £50 plus VAT if any of your guests use paper OR biodegradable confetti.
Due to livestock in the area we do not allow fireworks or Chinese lanterns but you are more than welcome to use sparklers (which make for great night time photos!)
All our food is prepared in the Coach House kitchen by our creative and dedicated catering team. We pride ourselves on being able to cater for all different types of challenging dietary requirements. Just let us know of any dietary requirements at the final planning meeting and we can ensure your guests are fed appropriately.
This is not possible. All food must be provided by us. If you can’t find what you are looking for on our menus, then just ask, we are happy to discuss alternative options with you.
You and your guests will have the option to book Doddington Estate accommodation for the night before and night of your wedding. Staying onsite is much more fun and so much easier than the taxi journey back and forth to another location.
We have a total of 4 cottages and 7 individual bedrooms accommodating up to 48 people. The cottage accommodation hire is based on a minimum of a 2 night stay. The individual rooms are based on a 1 or 2 night stay but staying for 2 nights results in a sizeable saving.
A full set of linens and towels etc is provided in each location.
