Planning a wedding doesn’t have to be stressful. From your first enquiry to your final vows, our expert team will be on hand to help.
With almost 30 years’ experience between them, our Wedding Managers, Justine and Alice, are yet to meet a problem they can’t fix. From suggesting hairdressers to helping with décor decisions, our team can provide a wealth of helpful advice.
To help you plan your big day, we have a directory of trusted suppliers covering everything from photography to pre-wedding facials. While you are under no obligation to book them, these are people we have worked with before who share our values and know and love our venue.

Catkin Flowers
Rachel Petheram of Catkin Flowers is an intuitive florist who works closely with nature to create seasonal arrangements, guided by her close connection to the garden and its plants.
An ardent champion of British-grown blooms, she grows many of her own flowers in the Kitchen Garden at Doddington, where her studio is based. Each stem is grown naturally and hand-selected to create relaxed bouquets, buttonholes and table arrangements for weddings and events.
Violet & Vine
Based in Lincoln, florists Julie and Isabelle create bespoke wedding flowers, individually designed for each couple. Catering for weddings of all sizes and budgets, they work with your vision to create something special and entirely unique to you.

Asked Questions
How do we book a viewing?
To arrange a wedding viewing at Doddington Hall, simply use our online booking platform. Here you can select a member of our team and your preferred date. For your initial viewing, we will meet with you, discuss the details of your day and show you around the estate.
What is the booking process?
Following your initial appointment, we will check availability and pencil in a proposed date for your wedding day. We hold this provisional date for 7 days while you contact the Registrar or Church to enquire about availability and book your ceremony.
After 7 days, we require a signed copy of the booking form along with a 30% deposit to secure your date. No further payments are due until 6 months before the wedding, when 40% of the remaining balance is payable. The final balance is due 2 weeks before your wedding.
What is included with venue hire?
Cutlery, crockery, glassware, linens, staffing and a pay bar are all included in the venue hire. We don’t charge extra for any fixtures and fittings.
Will we have exclusive use of the venue?
Yes - Doddington will be exclusively yours on your wedding day. We only host one wedding per day. You will also have priority for booking our on-site accommodation.
Are Doddington weddings dog-friendly?
We welcome dogs at wedding ceremonies and for photographs. We kindly ask that they are collected before food service begins.
Do you only allow recommended suppliers?
We have an extensive directory of trusted suppliers whom we work with regularly and who are familiar with the venue, but you are under no obligation to use them.
Can we bring in outside caterers?
We do not allow external catering, and all food must be provided by us. If you have any specific requests, we would be happy to discuss alternative menu options.
Do you have wheelchair access?
The ground floor of the Coach House is all on one level and is wheelchair accessible. We have lift access to the Long Gallery in the Hall, however, the lift is unfortunately not suitable for wheelchairs.
Do you have accommodation at Doddington?
Yes – you and your guests can book accommodation on the Doddington Estate for the weekend of your wedding. You have up to 12 months after confirming your wedding booking to reserve your accommodation.
