PLEASE NOTE THAT FACE COVERINGS ARE MANDATORY IN ALL SHOPS FROM 24 JULY
The safety of our team and visitors is our priority and we’ve introduced an additional measure to help keep everyone safe. To comply with social distancing we will be limiting the number of customers in the shop so please be patient if you are asked to queue.
Please note that there is no longer any through route via the Farm Shop, the Farm Shop entrance provides access to the Farm Shop only. All pedestrian access to our cafés and all other shops is now via the Giant Bike Shop path.
Please help us keep you safe by looking to the signs in place to guide you, using the hand sanitiser provided, wearing a face-covering indoors, paying by card and adhering to social distancing and the rule of six at all times. Click here to view our COVID-19 UPDATE PAGE
Opened in 2007, our award-winning Farm Shop was born out of a passion for good quality, seasonal, local food. You’ll find fruit and vegetables with zero food miles freshly picked from our fabulous Kitchen Garden (back in production after a 50 year absence), beef in the Butchery is often from our very own herd of Lincolnshire Red Cattle along with an abundance of other produce from local suppliers.
We’ve extended our selection of locally sourced beers and spirits as well as creating a wine shop with a dedicated tasting area. Over the next 18 months, we expect to see more craft whiskies and rums on the market and we are always looking for exciting new local products.
Our full to bursting Deli counter celebrates the fantastic cheeses produced locally, as well as some from further afield, fabulous scotch eggs from The Handmade Scotch Egg Company and a range of wonderful pies and snacks to go.
We have expanded our Cook frozen ready meals range from 5 freezers to 14! We are now the proud stockists of a fantastic selection of tasty frozen mains, tempting sides, popular desserts, impressive canapés, delicious party food, healthy children’s meals and low-calorie options.
Our Hambleton Farms Butchery counter stocks quality local and rare-breed meats, traditionally reared and properly hung to promote the best flavour. Sausages, local game, home-made pork pies and own cured bacon are also in plentiful supply. The butchery has recently had a makeover and improvements include a special dry ageing fridge, new display counters and a larger range of products.
Our cakes, pastries, scones, tarts and biscuits baked daily on-site are a firm favourite with locals and coupled with our daily deliveries of bread from local bakeries, Welbeck and Welbourne, have made for a bustling bakery section. For the home-baker we have ingredients, decorations and accessories galore many of which are not easily found elsewhere and our selection of flours are wind-milled traditionally at the local Maud Foster Mill in Boston.
Stock up on your larder essentials (and those not-so-essentials) from our extensive range of chutneys, jams, pickles, pesto, sauces, pasta, chocolates, sweet treats and crisps. Enough to inspire the most jaded of cooks. Our customers’ favourites include Doddington Estate Honey, Doddington recipe marmalade and our very own Apple Juice made using the apples from our orchard.
We’re trying to reduce plastic packaging on all of our fruit and veg. So our 95p bags are now paper. We will refund you 20p off your next veg box if you return your tray. We’ve requested that our suppliers give us loose produce as much as possible. For the lowest environmental impact, why not buy our Kitchen Garden produce?
We hate waste here at Doddington and we know when you have a vegetable garden or allotment it is sometimes hard to use everything you grow, so if you are an amateur veggie grower we would like to hear from you. Find out more.
