Open daily for breakfast, lunch, coffee and cake, the Grain Store at Doddington is the perfect place to relax and refuel.
All of our menus feature fresh produce foraged from across the estate, along with fruit and vegetables picked daily from our walled Kitchen Garden. Beyond the estate, we seek out the best local growers and producers from Lincolnshire and surrounding counties.
You can enjoy a selection of teas and coffee, all sourced locally from Stokes in Lincoln and expertly prepared by our in-house baristas. At the bar, you’ll find an alluring range of cocktails, spirits, wines and beers.
The Grain Store Restaurant is open every Friday and Saturday evening for exceptional, award-winning à la carte dining. Our talented chefs craft seasonal menus that celebrate the very best of the estate – from our freshly picked Kitchen Garden produce to own pasture-fed Lincoln Red beef and locally sourced game.
A driving force of our Wilder Doddington project is our herd of rare breed and pasture-fed Lincoln Red cattle which is helping to build biodiversity and carbon sequestration in our soils and vegetation. Our beef is aged for at least 28 days and is simply delicious.
Every dish on our à la carte menu reflects our commitment to quality, provenance and flavour.
Grain Store Café
Walk-ins are welcome in our café, from Monday – Sunday. If you would like to plan ahead, have a special occasion or prefer a dog-free area then we take café lunch bookings for upstairs, Monday – Saturday only and breakfast bookings, Monday-Sunday.
Grain Store Restaurant
If you’d like to dine in our upstairs restaurant, bookings are available daily for breakfast and lunch, and for á la carte dining on Friday and Saturday evenings. Please note, if you book a table in our restaurant on Sunday, we only serve our Sunday lunch menu.
Dogs are not permitted upstairs. Lift access is available.
If you have a large party of 8+ then please contact us for a reservation.
A credit/debit card is required to secure bookings for tables of 6+. All card information will be processed securely. No-shows or cancellations less than 1 day in advance may be subject to a charge of £5 per person.
The Grain Store Restaurant is open every Friday and Saturday evening for à la carte dining and every Sunday for Sunday lunch. We are proud to showcase estate-grown produce and support local and British producers throughout our menus.

Join us for a classic Sunday roast at the Grain Store, served in both our cosy café downstairs and our relaxed restaurant upstairs.
Expect perfectly roasted meats, seasonal vegetables, fluffy Yorkshire puddings and lashings of rich homemade gravy.
Downstairs in our café, Sunday roasts are served from 12–3.30pm.
