parkrun

Volunteering at parkrun is an opportunity to get outside, make new friends, have fun, learn new skills and to be a valuable part of your local community. The Doddington Hall parkrun team are always looking for new volunteers.

WILDER DODDINGTON

We are always excited to have people come and help us at Wilder Doddington. Whether you would like to come along and help on a regular basis or come to occasional volunteer days, please click the button below and fill out the form to tell us a little more about yourself. Due to lone working and safeguarding policies, Wilder Doddington can only accept volunteers who are 18+ and can only offer volunteering opportunities Monday to Friday 9am-4pm.

Due to high levels of interest, we are not currently recruiting for Wilder Doddington volunteers. However, please check back soon for future opportunities.

KITCHEN GARDEN

Just a stone’s throw from the Hall, the Kitchen Garden provides an abundance of seasonal fruit, vegetables, salads and herbs which take centre stage on our Café, Restaurant and Wedding menus, and are regularly for sale in our Farm Shop.

Due to high levels of interest, we are not currently recruiting for Kitchen Garden volunteers. However, please check back soon for future opportunities.

THE GARDENS

For many, the Gardens at Doddington are just as spectacular as the Hall itself. Remaining faithful to the original Elizabethan layout, mellow walls provide the framework for the formal East Front and West Gardens. Beyond the West Garden begins the lovingly restored Wild Gardens.

Due to high levels of interest, we are not currently recruiting for Garden volunteers. However, please check back soon for future opportunities.

THE HALL

Over 400 years of unbroken family occupation has resulted in fascinating collections of furniture, weaponry, paintings, ceramics, textiles, household objects, porcelain and a wealth of amusing stories all to be found in and around Doddington Hall.

Due to high levels of interest, we are not currently recruiting for Hall volunteers. However, please check back soon for future opportunities.

THE UNIFORM COLLECTION

Housed in a purpose built space above the Doddington Farm Wagon Collection, the Uniform Collection includes 900 military uniforms and 3,000 accessories, including hats, swords and boots. The stunning exhibits are a testament to one man’s passion for military history and craftsmanship.

Due to high levels of interest, we are not currently recruiting for Uniform Collection volunteers. However, please check back soon for future opportunities.
