Bauble Barn, Christmas Trees, Hall decorated for Christmas & much more

From the great outdoors to bringing history to life, we've got a range of different opportunities to get involved at Doddington.

Volunteering can be an extremely rewarding experience. From making new friends to enhancing your skill set, volunteering is a great opportunity to make a real difference. Join our community of wonderful volunteers and learn more about Doddington Hall, so you can share all that’s special - indoors and out.

For many, the Gardens at Doddington are just as spectacular as the Hall itself. Remaining faithful to the original Elizabethan layout, mellow walls provide the framework for the formal East Front and West Gardens. Beyond the West Garden begins the lovingly restored Wild Gardens.
We’re currently looking for volunteers to join our Garden Team at Doddington.
If you’d like to be part of a wonderful team and help us keep the Gardens looking beautiful then we’d love to hear from you.

Over 400 years of unbroken family occupation has resulted in fascinating collections of furniture, weaponry, paintings, ceramics, textiles, household objects, porcelain and a wealth of amusing stories all to be found in and around Doddington Hall.

Join our team of room guides and help bring history to life for our visitors. We are currently recruiting for room guides for our Christmas opening when the Hall will be spectacularly decorated for the festive period.

We have an exciting new opportunity to volunteer at Doddington Hall this Christmas and to join our dedicated and passionate volunteering team.

Between 23 November – 23 December, the Hall will once again be transformed for the festive period and decorated throughout for the theme ‘Christmas on the Riverbank. We will be bringing the outdoors in to create spectacular scenes for a magical family day out.

Our Christmas volunteers help provide the best visitor experience by showcasing our wonderful decorations. If you enjoy crafts and heritage or are looking for something new to try this winter, then this could be the role for you. It requires an engaging and outgoing individual who is eager to help others and able to make confident decisions.
