Dogs at Doddington

*Please note – Dogs are not allowed into our Farm Shop, Hall and Gardens, Sculpture Exhibition (situated inside the Gardens) or Cafe. Assistance dogs are welcome.*

More information can be found below on where dogs are welcome elsewhere on the estate.

There are a number of walks across the estate varying in both length and terrain. You can find out more information and download a map on our Estate Walks page.

Well-behaved pooches (and their owners) are welcome in our Coffee Shop (situated in the Bike Shop) and in Country Clothing and Doddington at Home store for a spot of retail therapy. Our stylish doggy range includes matching Pampeano leads and collars along with Sophie Allport dog beds and accessories plus much more for the discerning dog. Dog lovers can also pick up the perfect treat for themselves or as a gift, with our great range of doggy themed items.

Water bowls are located in the Cafe Courtyard and outside the Coffee Shop for a refreshing drink.

Please note that whilst dogs are very welcome on the Estate, we kindly ask that only assistance dogs enter the House and Gardens, Farm Shop, main Cafe and Tea Room.

If you wish to make the most of your visit with your dog then why not stay on the Estate in our pet-friendly Holiday Cottage, Holly Farm.

  • Do respect other visitors and keep your dog in sight
  • Do keep your dog safe in hot weather and please never leave your dog in the car when temperatures rise
  • Do be mindful of our cattle. Whilst they are very docile they can be a little curious so please refrain from walking between them and their calves
