Dogs at Doddington

Here at Doddington we welcome dogs of all shapes and sizes! Our resident dog Ruby and very loyal dog visitors, Sadie, Pancake, Max and Bertie are just a small handful of those who make the most of the estate.

There are a number of walks across the estate varying in both length and terrain. You can pick up a walks leaflet from our Farm Shop or simply find out more information and download a map on our Estate Walks page.

Well-behaved pooches (and their owners) are welcome in our Coffee Shop and in Country Clothing and Doddington at Home store for a spot of retail therapy. Our stylish doggy range includes matching Pampeano leads and collars along with Sophie Allport dog beds and accessories plus much more for the discerning dog. Dog lovers can also pick up the perfect treat for themselves or as a gift, with our great range of doggy themed items.

Dogs are also welcome in the outside areas of our Cafe and Restaurant and Coffee Shop, where water bowls are available for a refreshing drink.

If you wish to make the most of your visit with your dog then why not stay on the estate in our pet friendly Holiday Cottage, Holly Farm.

 Doddington Do’s

  • Do bag it and bin it
  • Do keep your dog on a lead
  • Do respect other visitors and keep your dog in sight
  • Do keep your dog safe in hot weather and please never leave your dog in the car when temperatures rise
  • Do be mindful of our cattle. Whilst they are very docile they can be a little curious so please refrain from walking between them and their calves

Please note that whilst dogs are welcome across the estate, we kindly ask that only assistance dogs enter the House and Gardens, Farm Shop and internal areas of the main Cafe. Dogs are not allowed in the Christmas Tree Yard.
