Dogs at Doddington

*Please note – Dogs are not allowed into our Farm Shop, Hall, Gardens, Main Cafe, Tea Room or Cafe. Assistance dogs are welcome.*

Dogs are very welcome on our Estate Walks, in our Coffee Shop and in our Home Store and Country Clothing.

There are a number of walks across the estate varying in both length and terrain. You can find out more information and download a map on our Estate Walks page.

Well-behaved pooches (and their owners) are welcome in our Coffee Shop (situated in the Bike Shop) and in Country Clothing and Doddington at Home store for a spot of retail therapy. Our stylish doggy range includes matching Pampeano leads and collars along with Sophie Allport dog beds and accessories plus much more for the discerning dog. Dog lovers can also pick up the perfect treat for themselves or as a gift, with our great range of doggy themed items.

Water bowls are located in the Cafe Courtyard and outside the Coffee Shop for a refreshing drink.

If you wish to make the most of your visit with your dog then why not stay on the Estate in our pet-friendly Holiday Cottage, Holly Farm.

Please help us keep Doddington pleasant and tidy for all

  • If your dog fouls in our parkland, please bag it and bin it.
  • Please don’t leave bags of dog waste in the parkland, plastic bags are a danger to wildlife and take hundreds of years to degrade.
  • Dog waste bins are located in the main car park, on the wall opposite the Country Clothing store and by the public footpath/gate to the Avenue walk.
  • Please keep your dog on a lead.
  • Do be mindful of our cattle. Whilst they are very docile they can be a little curious so please refrain from walking between them and their calves
  • Keep your dog safe in hot weather and please never leave your dog in the car when temperatures rise.

Please refer to our COVID-19 update page for full information about visiting the Doddington Estate.
