Love Local

Opened in 2007, our award-winning Farm Shop was born out of a passion for good quality, seasonal, local food.

You’ll find fruit and vegetables with zero food miles freshly picked from our fabulous Kitchen Garden, beef in the Butchery often from our very own herd of Lincoln Red cattle, estate honey and an abundance of other produce from local suppliers.

Thanks to a grant from The National Lottery Heritage Fund, the formerly neglected two-acre Walled Kitchen Garden was restored to its former glory in 2007 (after a 50 year absence).

Just a stone’s throw from the Hall it now provides an abundance of fruit, vegetables, salads and herbs which take centre stage on our menus and are regularly for sale in the Farm Shop.

Our Hambleton Farms Butchery counter stocks quality local and rare-breed meats, including pasture-fed Doddington herd Lincoln Red beef, properly hung to promote the best flavour.

Sausages, local game, homemade pork pies and own cured bacon are also in plentiful supply.

The Lincoln Tea and Coffee Company have always been passionate about tea and coffee, and in 2013 they turned that passion into a business which now supplies fine leaf tea and roasted coffee to our Farm Shop and Tea Room.

We’ve collaborated with The Lincoln Distillery, based on the banks of the Foss Dyke just 5 miles up the road, for our Doddington Kitchen Garden Gin.
