HAPPY NEW YEAR
Estate Shops, Cafés & Wilder Walks open daily

Love Local

Opened in 2007, our award-winning Farm Shop was born out of a passion for good quality, seasonal, local food.

Here at Doddington Hall, we are proud to showcase estate-grown produce and support local and British producers in our Farm Shop and throughout our menus.

A driving force of our Wilder Doddington project is our herd of rare breed and pasture-fed Lincoln Red cattle which is helping to build biodiversity and carbon sequestration in our soils and vegetation. Our beef is aged for at least 28 days and is simply delicious.

There is also foraged produce from across the estate along with fruit and vegetables picked daily in our walled Kitchen Garden. Beyond the estate, we seek out the best local growers and producers from Lincolnshire and surrounding counties.

Thanks to a grant from The National Lottery Heritage Fund, the formerly neglected two-acre walled Kitchen Garden was restored to its former glory in 2007 (after a 50 year absence).

Just a stone’s throw from the Hall it now provides an abundance of fruit, vegetables, salads and herbs which take centre stage on our menus and are regularly for sale in the Farm Shop.

Our Hambleton Farms Butchery counter stocks quality local and rare-breed meats, including pasture-fed Doddington herd Lincoln Red beef, properly hung to promote the best flavour.

Sausages, local game, homemade pork pies and own cured bacon are also in plentiful supply.

Find out all about our Doddington Estate honey as Julie Montagu joins beekeepers Neil and Oliver from Ponts Honey. This delicious honey is available in our Farm Shop.

The Lincoln Tea and Coffee Company have always been passionate about tea and coffee, and in 2013 they turned that passion into a business which now supplies fine leaf tea and roasted coffee to our Farm Shop, Farm Shop Café and Tea Room.

We’ve collaborated with The Lincoln Distillery, based on the banks of the Foss Dyke just 5 miles up the road, for our Doddington Kitchen Garden Gin. Inspired by botanicals from our Kitchen Garden, it’s a wonderfully light gin that can be mixed with your favourite tonic, soda or lemonade.
