Private Group Tours at Wilder Doddington

Throughout the year we are able to welcome groups for bespoke Wilder tours and larger events here at Doddington.

Tailored presentations and tours can be arranged to suit specific interests. Please contact wilderadmin@doddingtonhall.com or call Emma on 01522 243332 to discuss your requirements further.

Groups are given exclusive access behind the scenes at Wilder Doddington, and visit areas beyond the public footpaths to explore the mosaic of habitats being created by our roaming rare breed cattle, wild Exmoor ponies and curly coated pigs.  We may catch sight of a deer, hare or slow worm or two. Walking into the woodland to see the value of open glades, standing dead wood and other features rarely seen, discovering their value to beetles, butterflies, birds and bats.

You will be able to discuss the processes involved in rewilding, species reintroduction and learn about the exciting projects here such as the creation of seasonal wetlands with our ‘Wetter Better’ project.

Catering: There are two cafes on-site offering seasonal menus, if you would like to stay for lunch. Tables can be booked online and in advance for the Grain Store Café.

Conferences: We are able to arrange comprehensive conference packages for full day and larger corporate events, which can be tailored to your requirements.

Staying at Doddington: There is an extensive range of accommodation on-site which can be booked for your guests.

“The team at Wilder Doddington have a fantastic vision and ethos and will be delivering some incredible changes over the next few years. Big thinking and active partnership, the key to quality delivery.”

Toby Collett, RSPB
