Jazz Night - Me & Mr Jones
Me & Mr Jones is the captivating collaboration of Rachel Foster and Paul Deats, who together craft beautiful original songs made with heart and soul.
With Rachel’s vocals and Paul on piano, their music feels gently nostalgic, echoing another era, yet unmistakably rooted in the present.
This talented duo will be joined by Simon Paterson on double bass and drummer Stevie Smith. For this special performance at the Grain Store, the band will also be joined by special guest Dennis Rollins MBE on trombone – one of the UK’s most celebrated jazz musicians.
Meet the musicians
Rachel Foster has toured the US with Weekend Players, achieving Billboard Chart success – reaching No. 3 and topping the Dance Chart at No. 1. Paul Deats has toured extensively across Europe and the UK and is renowned as a constantly inventive arranger and composer, making him a highly sought-after performer and collaborator.
With Dennis Rollins MBE adding his unmistakable sound and commanding presence, Me & Mr Jones present a richly layered set of original songs alongside lovingly reimagined gems from the Great American Songbook – an evening of warmth, swing and standout musicianship.
