With very little light and noise pollution, Doddington is a great spot for stargazing, nocturnal wildlife watching - or simply snuggling up with a good book.
After a restful night’s sleep, wake to the sound of birdsong before heading out to explore the estate. Our walking trails are open from dawn, inviting you to enjoy a gentle morning stroll through Wilder Doddington, followed by breakfast at one of our award-winning cafés.
Available for overnight stays, weekend getaways and longer breaks, the Doddington Estate offers 28 double or twin bedrooms across seven unique locations.
Each of our five self-catering cottages provides a true home-from-home experience, with spacious kitchens, dining areas and living spaces. Every property is full of character, promising a memorable and comfortable stay.
All of our en-suite rooms are located within the Stable Yard, overlooking the Wilder Doddington landscape. These can be booked individually or reserved together for larger groups.
Grange Farm
The ultimate rural retreat, Grange Farm is located just a short drive from the Doddington Estate. Nestled in the countryside and surrounded by woodland, this secluded cottage is ideal for those seeking a private and relaxing stay.

Shakespeare Cottage
Just a four-minute walk from the Elizabethan Hall, Shakespeare Cottage is a beautiful barn conversion, and the most modern accommodation on the estate.

The Brewhouse
Steeped in history, the Elizabethan Brewhouse has an abundance of characterful features. Stripped oak beams, low ceilings and an open log fire create a wonderful warm ambience, and guests can enjoy exquisite views of Doddington Hall.

How do I make a booking?
To book accommodation at Doddington Hall, you can use our online booking system. Alternatively, you can call 01522 699162 or email stay@doddingtonhall.com.
What time is check-in and check-out?
Standard check-in time for all properties is 4pm, check out is 10am on the day of departure.
All of our properties are self-check in/check out system. Keys are stored in secure silver key boxes on the exterior wall of each property, the access code will be included in your booking confirmation email.
Upon departure, please return the keys to the key box and re-enter the code to lock it.
Is parking available?
All of the accommodation at Doddington has allocated parking spaces, providing ample parking for guests.
EV chargers are available in the Grain Store car park.
Is the accommodation at Doddington accessible?
Due to the historic nature of the estate, none of our properties can be classified as fully accessible. However, Shakespeare Cottage offers a ground-floor twin bedroom with an ensuite wet room.
Are pets allowed?
Dogs are welcome in our pet-friendly cottages, Grange Farm and Holly Farm only. A charge of £30 per dog, per stay applies, payable at the time of booking and non-refundable.
What is your cancellation policy?
If you cancel your booking, your 50% deposit is non-refundable. If you cancel more than 2 months before your booking, 75% of the total cost is payable. If you cancel within 4 weeks of the booked date, the full amount is payable. Please note that forfeited deposits cannot be credited towards future bookings. Full terms and conditions are available on request.
