Giant Lincoln Shop Rides

Giant Lincoln Shop Rides bring riders together to explore local cycle routes at a relaxed pace.

With members of all ages and abilities, these rides are all about keeping cycling enjoyable, inclusive and social - whether that’s a steady weekend ride, building confidence on the bike or simply spending time with like-minded people. Guided by the motto “nobody gets left behind”, the Giant Lincoln shop rides are about cycling as a group, not racing against the clock.

As most rides also finish with a well-earned coffee at the Grain Store café, this is more than just cycling, it’s a community.

Giant Lincoln runs a regular programme of social group rides throughout the week, welcoming anyone that wants to join in.

Our gravel rides run once a month on a Saturday.

We offer a beginner’s gravel ride which is 15-20 miles and a more adventurous gravel ride that is 35-60 miles depending on the time of year.

These rides are a fantastic way to enjoy the brilliant local tracks and trails of Lincolnshire. Our beginners ride is perfect for that first time Gravel Crusher, taking in tracks in and around Doddington so you can get used to your bike and riding off road.

Our road rides run every other Sunday, with three lengths to choose from.

Our beginner’s ride is ideal for those that have taken part in our “ride with confidence” course or for first time road riders. We will do a short loop from the store on quiet roads and cycle tracks which are perfect for people getting into the sport of road cycling.

Our medium rides are 30-40 miles long at a nice social pace, they will have some elevation – but not much with it being Lincolnshire. We always keep the group together and take in some lovely roads through the local countryside.

Our long rides are 40-50 miles long, cycling at a reasonable pace. We always have a few hills on the ride to add to the challenge – as all cyclists know climbing is good for the soul! Always cycling as a group, we take the scenic route so you can enjoy some great views along the way.
