seasonal fresh fruit and vegetables on platters from doddington hall kitchen garden

The Farm Shop

Where our story began. You’ll find locally sourced produce, seasonal ingredients and plenty of delicious treats to take home.

Built on a passion for good, honest ingredients, the Doddington Farm Shop showcases estate-grown produce alongside independent brands and artisan products not readily available elsewhere.

We are proud to support British farmers and producers, and champion local independent businesses at every opportunity. You’ll find a range of Lincolnshire brands on our shelves, from Grantham Gingerbread biscuits to Lincoln Distillery gin.

From field to fork

The Doddington Farm Shop is closely connected to the estate’s Kitchen Garden. Neglected for over 50 years, this walled garden was restored in 2007 with support from The National Lottery Heritage Fund.

Just a short walk from the Farm Shop, the Kitchen Garden now produces a wide range of fruit, vegetables, salads and herbs, which feature across our menus and are also available seasonally in the shop.

Kitchen Garden produce sits alongside other homegrown favourites, including Doddington Estate Honey, Doddington recipe marmalade and apple juice made using apples from our orchard. We also produce Doddington Gin, distilled with The Lincoln Distillery and inspired by botanicals grown in the garden.

Alongside our own produce, the Farm Shop also stocks a range of local specialities including Stokes Coffee, Welbeck Bakery bread, Lincolnshire Poacher cheese and, of course, Lincolnshire sausages.

Thinking about
stopping by?

With so much to do at Doddington, it can be hard to fit everything into just one day. So here are a few useful things to know before you set off:

Maud Foster Mill in Boston is one of the largest windmills in the UK. Built in 1819, the mill’s flour-making methods have remained unchanged for over two centuries. Made with local grain, this organic flour is traditionally produced using wind power and stoneground daily.
