Asked Questions
What are Doddington Hall's opening times?
Doddington Hall and Gardens is open seasonally, from March–September. Our shops, cafés, and restaurant are open throughout the year. Please check our Opening Times page for the latest information before your visit.
Do I need to book before visiting Doddington Hall?
You don't need to book before you visit Doddington Hall, but we recommend booking Hall tickets in advance to ensure you get your preferred time slot. Booking is required for afternoon tea, the Grain Store restaurant and most events. Early booking is advised for popular events, such as Christmas in the Hall.
No booking is required for the gardens, simply pay on arrival at the Gatehouse.
Can I buy Hall & Gardens tickets on the day?
Hall and garden tickets can be purchased on arrival, subject to availability. To secure your preferred entry time to the Hall, we recommend booking online in advance. Gardens-only tickets are available at the Gatehouse on the day.
Is there parking?
Free parking is available while the estate is open, with dedicated car parks opposite the Hall and outside the Farm Shop and Grain Store.
Can I visit the Farm Shop and cafés without paying admission?
Yes. Our shops, cafés and estate walks are all free to visit. Admission charges only apply to the Hall & Gardens and selected events or experiences.
What happens if I arrive close to closing time?
