“I’m now in my 20th year, time really does fly when you’re enjoying yourself! Have so enjoyed the friends I’ve made, the knowledge I’ve gained- and passed on to visitors & colleagues, and probably my favourite part - interacting with our visitors from all over the world.”

“I’m now in my sixteenth year of volunteering at Doddington Hall and I count the team as friends and the work as fun. I never go home without some new nugget of information picked up from colleagues or visitors. It keeps the work fresh and interesting.”

“Volunteering as a Hall guide is one of the best things I have ever done! Sharing the history of this remarkable building with the visitors and knowing they have enjoyed their visit is what it is all about. I have loved making new friends along the way too.”
