Catkin Flowers
Catkin Flowers is the home of intuitive and expressive floral design and experiences.
Owned by florist Rachel Petheram, Catkin Flowers is based in the cutting garden within the historic Kitchen Garden at Doddington Hall. This heavenly scented hidden gem is home to some of nature’s most beautiful seasonal flowers, grown naturally in the heart of Lincolnshire.
Stem after stem, bloom after bloom, English cottage garden flowers fill the cutting garden with an array of colour and scents. Each flower is left to grow naturally, nurtured with care until the moment is right for picking.
Every stem is then carefully and intuitively selected by Rachel and transformed into beautiful bouquets and floral arrangements for weddings, events and special occasions.
Rachel’s connection to the cutting garden is visceral. She is as much a part of the garden as it is a part of her - both a little wild, wonderful and deeply attuned to the rhythms of the natural world.
The power of flowers
Gardens and nature have the power to restore. To give yourself the space to pause, breathe and clear your mind can help you feel grounded and allow you to grow – much like a flower.
Alongside her work as a florist, Rachel is also a reiki practitioner, using flowers and energy together to support people as they move forward in their lives.
From her cutting garden at Doddington Hall, Rachel hosts a series of hands-on workshops and immersive events. From floral retreats to nature therapy, her sessions weave together flowers, art and wellbeing, helping you deepen your connection to nature, the seasons and your sense of self.
