Lincolnshire Cross Country League Race
Every year, the Lincolnshire Athletics Association stage a cross country league, with four races taking place across the county. On 25 October, Doddington Hall will play host to the first race in this year's event.
Organised by Lincoln and District Runners, the Doddington leg of the league features a challenging route across the estate. Covering mixed terrain, this ia a great grassroots event for young runners to tackle a whole host of running conditions.
There are two laps to choose from, with additional laps for older competitors:
- Short lap: 1.86m
- Pyramid lap: 2.91km
Races are open to running club and non-running club registered runners. Categories include under 12, under 14, under 16, under 18 and under 20.
The first race will commence at 10.30am. Participants will need to collect their numbers on the day from the Race HQ which will be situated near the start/finish area.
The race route follows the parkland and wooded areas, it could be slippery/muddy, so trail shoes are recommended.

Please note: Runners in the U10 category must be 8 or 9 on race day, they can't be under 8.
