Doddington Hall will feature in the brand new series ’ , premiering in January.Julie Montagu, Viscountess Hinchingbrooke, travels across the United Kingdom to visit some of the country’s most stunning stately homes – rich in historical and architectural importance, priceless treasures and untold stories – these houses are national treasures. But the upkeep of these historic homes is a constant challenge for their owners – something Julie understands quite well. With her unique position as an American Aristocrat, Julie is granted privileged access to some of the grandest estates of Great Britain. We certainly enjoyed welcoming Julie to Doddington and can’t wait to watch the series.

"It was such fun filming with Julie, we both have huge challenges in making our houses relevant and financially stable in the 21st century and it was great to be able to share ideas and tips, and to realise how much we have in common!" - Claire Birch

Get insider access to these incredible estates on An American Aristocrat’s Guide to Great Estates - premiering 21 January at 8pm on the Smithsonian Channel. Doddington Hall's episode will air the following week on Tuesday 28 January at 8pm.
