David Cutler is a Dorset-based artist and founder of Cutler Aesthetics, specialising in striking artworks crafted from metal and wood. A lifelong maker, David's creative journey began in secondary school, where he pursued fine art, photography, and product design through A-levels. He refined his craftsmanship at Bridgwater College, completing a four-year part-time course in fine furniture making. Seeking broader academic experience, he earned a First-Class Honours degree in Construction Project Management from Oxford Brookes University, leading to a successful career managing the restoration of listed buildings in the Cotswolds and Dorset.

Despite a busy career in construction, David's passion for making never waned. Inspired by the natural world and taught by both his father and self-learning, he began forging large-scale metal artworks. In 2018, he launched Cutler Aesthetics, combining his love of nature, craftsmanship, and design to create captivating art and home pieces that celebrate organic forms on a grand scale.
