Housekeeper | Accommodation
We are looking for a friendly, reliable and hardworking Housekeeper to join our Accommodation team at Doddington Hall.
As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for ensuring our accommodation is cleaned and presented to a high standard. This will include guest bedrooms, cottages and communal areas, helping to ensure every guest arrives to a clean, comfortable and welcoming environment.
This is a hands-on role where attention to detail, pride in your work and a genuine commitment to creating a welcoming experience for our guests are essential.
Key Responsibilities
Cleaning and preparing guest accommodation to a consistently high standard
Changing and making beds and replenishing guest amenities
Cleaning bathrooms, kitchens and communal areas
Ensuring all rooms are presented beautifully and ready for guest arrival
Reporting maintenance issues, damage or missing items promptly
Working as part of the wider Accommodation team
Following cleaning procedures and health and safety requirements
Helping to maintain the high standards expected at Doddington Hall
Working efficiently to meet guest check-in and departure times
About you
We are looking for someone who:
Takes pride in their work and has excellent attention to detail
Is reliable, punctual and well organised
Can work independently while also being a strong team player
Has a positive and professional attitude
Is comfortable working to deadlines, particularly on busy changeover days
Has previous housekeeping or cleaning experience, although full training can be provided for the right person
Understands the importance of discretion when working in guest accommodation
Availability
Weekend availability is essential, as our accommodation operates throughout the week and weekends can be particularly busy.
You will also be required to work Bank Holidays when needed, as these are often important periods for our accommodation business.
Flexibility around working hours and additional shifts during busy periods would be highly advantageous.

Hours & salary
Rate of pay £12.71
Part-time position, 18 to 24 hours a week
Weekends and Bank Holiday availability required
