This year, we’re celebrating the magic of Classic Christmas Cinema at Doddington Hall.
Doddington is being transformed for Christmas once again and this year we are taking inspiration from your favourite festive films.
As you journey through the Hall, each room sets a new scene. Discover familiar stories, characters and cinematic details, all reimagined with a Doddington twist.
Designed and made by our staff and volunteers, local artists and students from Lincoln College, this year’s handcrafted installations are an incredible display of imagination, creativity - and movie magic.
Timed tickets for this event are essential, however, we invite you to explore the Hall at your own pace, chat with our volunteers along the way and return to your favourite rooms!
A treasured family home for over 400 years, Doddington Hall is a wonderful place to celebrate Christmas. This beloved annual event is a chance to soak up the seasonal atmosphere on the estate, start your own family traditions - and join us for a mince pie or two.
Booking is essential and entry to the Hall is by timed ticket only. External membership schemes and promotional offers cannot be used for entry during this period. Doddington Hall Season Tickets are accepted.

Important information
Tickets
Tickets are non-transferable, non-exchangeable and non-refundable. If the event is cancelled, a full refund will be issued automatically.
Entry to the Hall is by timed ticket only. Please arrive at the front of the Hall no earlier than two minutes before your booked time. A member of the team will call you forward for entry, after which you can enjoy a free-flow visit through the Hall.
You do not need to print your e-ticket. It can be shown on your phone or other device. As mobile signal can be poor on site, we recommend taking a screenshot of your ticket before you arrive.
Season Tickets & Memberships
If you have selected a Doddington Hall Season Ticket or Voucher ticket type, please bring your valid season ticket card or voucher with you, along with your e-ticket. If you are unable to present a valid card or voucher, the full admission price will be payable.
Christmas at Doddington is a special event. External membership schemes and promotional offers, including Historic Houses, RHS, CPRE and Art Fund are not valid during this period. Doddington Hall Season Tickets are accepted.
Accessibility
The 12pm time slot each day is reserved for our Access Talk and is exclusively for visitors who are unable to use the stairs to access the upper floors of the Hall.
The upper floors of Doddington Hall are not accessible by wheelchair or pushchair.
Accessibility dogs are permitted in the Hall, no other dogs are allowed
Photography
We encourage you to take photographs of your favourite rooms, but please don't use a flash. Professional or commercial photoshoots are not permitted in the Hall or Gardens.
The Gardens
Ticket holders are welcome to explore the Gardens at any time during opening hours on the day of your visit.
Toilets for visitors to the Hall are located in the Gardens.
