Winter at Doddington
With sparkling frosts and clear blue skies, winter can bring some magical views to Doddington. When the first snow falls, the estate is transformed into a beautiful winter wonderland.
Towards the end of October, we close our gardens, allowing them to rest and rejuvenate before returning stronger in spring. Once the gates are locked and the last pumpkin has been picked, it’s time to step into Christmas at Doddington.
In November, the Hall opens its doors for our annual Christmas event. Following a different theme each year, every room is transformed with beautiful decorations and handcrafted displays, created by our talented staff, volunteers and students from Lincoln College.
As we countdown to the big day, our Home and Clothing stores are piled high with festive wares, winter warmers and gift ideas. In the Farm Shop, you’ll leave with everything you need for Christmas dinner, along with plenty of treats that weren’t on your list.
With so much to see and do, our Christmas experience is one the whole family can enjoy. From an annual trip to the Bauble Barn to picking out your tree in the Stable Yard, a visit to Doddington is all about creating the traditions that make Christmas so special.
